The Fort Lauderdale Air Show returns to Fort Lauderdale Beach on 15 mei–16, 2027 — a free-to-watch weekend of military jet teams and aerobatics over the Atlantic, centered on the beachfront near Sunrise Boulevard. All of our homes are about 10 minutes from the beach — close enough to pop back for a midday break from the sun and noise.
Getting there & parking
Show center is the beachfront at Sunrise Boulevard and A1A, but the flying is visible for miles along the sand — you don't need to be at the epicenter. Beach parking lots fill before mid-morning: arrive early, rideshare, or do what our guests do and take the free beach-cruiser bikes (about 20 easy minutes).
Roads around the beach are heavily congested on show days. If you drive, park west of the Intracoastal and walk or Water Taxi across.
Good to know before you go
- The show is free to watch from the public beach; premium viewing areas with seating are sold on the official site.
- Jets are loud — bring ear protection for little ones, and let nervous pets nap at your (pet-friendly) home instead.
- Afternoon showers are possible in May; the flying usually carries on between them.
- Bring a beach setup — chairs, umbrella, cooler. The flying runs roughly midday to late afternoon.
