Las Olas Art Fair 2027 — Dates, Parking & Where to Stay

The fair closes the central stretch of Las Olas Boulevard to traffic and fills it with artists' booths on both sides — fine art, sculpture, photography, jewelry and ceramics, all juried, all free to browse.

It runs both Saturday and Sunday, typically mid-morning to late afternoon — and there are two editions each year, January (Part I) and March (Part II), with different artists at each.

Make a day of the neighborhood: the fair sits between the Riverwalk and the beach, with the NSU Art Museum and the boulevard's cafés and galleries as permanent neighbors.

• Arrive near opening — the best parking and the first pick of the art both go early.
• Walk the full length before buying; mark your favorites and circle back.
• The artists are right there — commissions and custom work are part of the fun.
• Lunch on the boulevard is half the experience; the café patios fill by noon.
• Sunday afternoons run quieter — better conversation, occasionally better prices.

Parking on and around Las Olas fills by late morning on fair days — the municipal garages a block or two off the boulevard are the reliable play, and the Water Taxi's Las Olas stop turns the arrival into a sightseeing ride.

From our homes it's about 15 minutes by car. Our guests' move: arrive near opening, browse before the crowds, long lunch on the boulevard, home for a pool float.

Coming from Miami or West Palm Beach, Brightline to downtown Fort Lauderdale leaves you a short rideshare — or a pleasant stroll down the boulevard — from the fair.

• Entry is free; the art ranges from affordable prints to serious collector pieces.

• Sunday afternoon: the beach at the east end of the boulevard — toes in the Atlantic by four.
• Any evening: a Water Taxi ride along the New River and Intracoastal.
